All of Baked’s products are produced in a home-based kitchen that is not subject to state licensing or inspection, and may also process food allergens such as tree nuts, peanuts, eggs, soy, wheat, milk, fish, and crustacean shellfish.
How much do you charge?
Pricing varies depending on the complexity of the design, but typically ranges from $3 to $5 per cookie. View our pricing examples for more information.
Do you ship?
Not at this time. Cookies are only available for local pick-up on the east side of Madison, WI.
Uh oh! Something came up and I need to cancel. How does that work?
We got you! Life happens. If you’re able to cancel two weeks before pickup, you’ll get a full refund. If it’s less than two weeks, reach out and let’s chat about options. We’ll make it work.
How does the ordering process work?
Step one is to complete a design brief. If we have availability, we send you an invoice for a deposit equal to 50% of your total order. Payment of the deposit holds your order in our calendar and initiates the design process. The custom design is shared with you for your review and approval. Final payment is required one week before your order, and pickup is coordinated accordingly.
How are the cookies packaged?
You have some options. The standard is individually sealed in cellophane bags, placed collectively in a bakery box. If you’d prefer something more festive, or something more individually-structured for gifting purposes, we can make that happen at an additional cost. Let’s chat!
How long do the decorated cookies last?
Once sealed the cookies stay fresh at room temperature for approximately two to three weeks. They can be frozen for up to six months in their cellophane packaging. To enjoy a frozen cookie, simply leave it on the counter to come to room temperature, then enjoy.
Do you offer gluten free or vegan options?
Not at this time.
How far in advance do I need to order?
We recommend ordering at least two months in advance. Considering the labor-intensive design process, and required baking and drying time, we are unable to accept an order with less than two weeks’ notice.
